I love it, and it is a reluctant sale, but simply have too many model cars, and this rare item belongs in the collection of a much more serious diecast or Thunderbird collector.CONDITION: The model is loose, and has some paint wear as seen in the photos. The '67 to '71 Thunderbird hasn't been modeled much in 1/64-scale, and the opening hood and trunk in particular makes this a rather desirable model.The model was originally designed to be part of the Mini-Dinky range, but never released until TRI-ANG released it under the very short run and rare Top Gear series of models. The trunk opens, and can stay in that position on its own.

I propped the hood open with clear plastic in the photos it is not broken, but typical of older diecast, the opening hoods or trunks that don't always stay open.

The model is metallic dark green with a white interior, and features opening hood and trunk. As best I understand it, the wheel design was licensed by Topper Johnny Lightning to TRIANG for this series 'Top Gear'. For your consideration is this exceptionally rare TRI-ANG 'Top Gear' 1967 FORD THUNDERBIRD in approximately 1/64-scale (3-inches).
